Pete Doherty has been banned from driving for a year after allowing his manager to borrow his car without insurance.
Andy Boyd, a manager of Babyshambles, was jailed for a year last month for a hit and run he committed last September. He was driving Doherty's Daimler at the time.
Doherty was fined £500 by magistrates in Lowestoft along with the ban, reports BBC News.
He had already been given an 18-month driving ban and a £2,050 fine last December in Gloucester Crown Court for careless and drink-driving.
The two bans will run concurrently. Bruce Clark, Doherty's lawyer, said his client believed that Boyd had been insured to drive his vehicle before he lent it to him.
