The trailer for a new British film Rock And Roll Fuck 'n' Lovely, which stars Pete Doherty and Babyshambles guitarist Mik Whitnall has been posted online.

The film, which is due for release sometime in 2011, tells the story of a band's antics on the road, which, judging from the trailer, ultimately end up with someone getting killed. You can watch the trailer by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

According to the official information about the film, it is a "dark and fantastical touring tale with a little rock 'n' roll on the side just for good measure. This is a road movie. This is a rock and roll drama, a tale that exposes the rumors surrounding a mythical festival tour (or is it just the drugs?)."

The film, which is the directorial debut of Joshua Bagnall, also features The Streets and Muse multi instrumentalist Morgan Nichols among its cast.

Doherty has also shot a part in the film Confessions of a Young Contemporary. Starring opposite fellow musician/actor Charlotte Gainsbourg, Doherty plays French poet and novelist Alfred de Musset. The film is due out next year.
