Pete Doherty has cancelled his show in Inverness tonight (September 26).

The former Libertines man was due to be playing Inverness' Ironworks venue, but a statement on its website states that the show has been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" before adding that refunds will be available.

Doherty also cancelled his Glasgow gig last night. The former Libertines man was supposed to be playing the O2 ABC venue, but the show was called off at the last minute.

It is the second show in a row in Glasgow that the singer has cancelled. Fans have taken to his official Facebook page to express their disappointment.

Samantha Sweeney wrote: "That's twice I've paid to see you and twice you've not turned up, your an absolute discrace [sic] to your fans! Get your act together!!". Donna Manson added: "Oh so disappointed!"

Doherty is still set to play Word Up club in Greenock in Scotland tomorrow (September 27) and Le Gibus in Paris on Friday (September 28).
