Pete Doherty has taken to his blog to confirm his current management status.

Doherty wrote on the Albion Rooms website: "It’s come to my attention that confusion abounds regarding my management situation. Hopefully I can clarify the current situation. Forget my previous post friends … All new enquiries should be directed to Mr Adrian Hunter (once, previous, future and current) for consideration. Any enquiries directed to any previously named 'representatives' (e.g Messrs Bodin et Duquense) should be directed to Mr Hunter where they have every chance of professional consideration and onward actioning."

Confusions had arisen when, in February, Doherty had stated on his blog that he had split from his long time managers Hunter and Andy Boyd. Back then Doherty claimed that Cyril Bodin and Anais Duquesne were helping him out alongside his French agent Jean-Louis Schell. However, Doherty has since changed his mind and is now working with Hunter once more.

Speaking to NME Hunter himself confirms the relationship and says: "I'm happy to be back with Peter and am looking forward to reinjecting professionalism in to his commercial affairs."

Pete Doherty will hit the road with his bandmates in September for an extensive run which will involve gigs all the way into October. Starting in Glasgow on September 4, the tour will visit Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Lincoln, Bristol, Oxford, Cardiff and Norwich throughout September as well as a date at London's Brixton Academy. Further shows in October will take place in Sheffield, Hatfield, Leamington Spa, Birmingham, Leicester and Cambridge.
