Rap star wants Swedes to play onstage

Kanye West has reportedly asked Peter, Bjorn and John to be his backing band when he plays their home country of Sweden next month.

According to Pitchfork, the rapper is set to perform at the Way Out West festival on August 11 and has worked his magic on their much-played ‘Young Folks’ song which they are re-releasing in September in the UK.

Meanwhile, Peter, Bjorn and John kick off their US tour tonight in Los Angeles. The stint will see them play their biggest New York show to date at Roseland Ballroom.
