Jury selected for Phil Spector trial
Nine men and three women will decide producer's fate
The jury that will determine whether US music producer Phil Spector murdered actress Lana Clarkson was selected in Los Angeles today (April 19).
A panel of nine men and three women will be charged with deciding whether Spector murdered the B-movie actress in his home four years ago.
Members of the jury include several county employees including two engineers, and a network TV producer.
Those selected said they would carefully weigh the evidence and would be fair in their judgments. None of them expressed preconceived opinions about Spector's guilt or innocence.
As previously reported, several jurors who stated they believed that the legendary producer killed Clarkson were dismissed.
Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler told the jurors that the case would likely last two to three months.
