Phil Spector: jury selection complete

The jury for line-up Phil Spector’s trial has been completed.

Opening statements are expected today (April 25).

Six alternate jurors were confirmed after two days of questioning by lawyers at Los Angeles Superior Court following the selection last week of a 12-member jury to hear the case.

Phil Spector is accused of murdering actress Lana Clarkson in 2003.

As previously reported, several jurors who stated they believed that the legendary producer killed Clarkson were dismissed earlier this month.

Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler told the jurors that the case would likely last two to three months, reports Yahoo.
