Phil Spector judge threatened online
Phil Spector
Blogger says 'evil judge should die'
The judge in the Phil Spector murder trial has been threatened online.
On a MySpace page called 'Team Spector', a blogger reportedly posted messages stating, "I love Phil Spector, and "The Evil Judge should DIE!!!"
The Los Angeles Country Sheriff's Department is investigating the matter. The messages, which have now been taken down, were posted by someone writing under the name Chelle.
Spector's wife's name is Rachelle, but the producer's defence attorney has insisted that she had nothing to do with the postings.
Spector is accused of murdering actress Lana Clarkson at his Los Angeles mansion on February 3, 2003. The defence contends that the actress' death was suicide.
The jury is currently in their third week of deliberations. After the jury foreman stated that the jurors were deadlocked 7-5 last week, Judge Larry Paul Fidler issued additional instructions to the jurors in an attempt to break the deadlock.
