Phil Spector sued by hotel for unpaid bills
The producer allegedly owes more than $100,000
Phil Spector has been sued by a Los Angeles hotel for allegedly failing to pay more than $100,000 worth of bills.
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites filed suit yesterday (June 18), claiming that Spector, his wife and agent owe accommodation fees for lawyers and expert witnesses who stayed at the hotel during Spector's murder trial last year.
The hotel's lawsuit alleges fraud, breach of written contract and other charges, reports the Associated Press.
Spector's trial ended in a hung jury last year when jurors failed to reach a verdict after hearing approximately five months of testimony.
