The band's new album 'Bankrupt!' will be released on April 22 - the same day as their one-off London gig

Phoenix have released a 'homemade performance' video for their current single 'Entertainment'.

The video features the band playing a stripped down version of the track, which comes from their forthcoming new album 'Bankrupt!', set for release on April 22.

A host of other artists have already tackled the single, including the original, reformed Sugababes – now known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan – who feature on a new Blood Orange remix of 'Entertainment'.

Dinosaur Jr also recently covered 'Entertainment'.

Phoenix will release a deluxe version of 'Bankrupt!' featuring 71 bonus tracks. The numerous "demos and sketches" will run to over an hour's worth of extra material. Among the 71 tracks on the deluxe edition are many songs under a minute long, with one track, 'Aristotle', clocking in at just one second.

Phoenix will play London Shepherd's Bush Empire on April 22. The band have also been confirmed to headline the NME/ Radio 1 Tent at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals.
