Phoenix to headline Open'er Festival 2014

Phoenix are set to headline the Heineken Open'er Festival 2014.

The band will join previously announced headliners The Black Keys and Pearl Jam at the yearly event, which takes place in Gdynia, Poland. Next year's festival will take place from July 2-5, 2014. Tickets are already on sale at Opener.pl/en and more artists will be announced over the coming months. Phoenix will play the final day of the event on July 5.

Last summer's festival took place in July 2013 and was headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Kings Of Leon, Blur and Queens Of The Stone Age. Rihanna also performed a bonus gig for people who had four-day festival tickets. Also on the bill were The National, Palma Violets, Savages, Alt-J, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Editors, Disclosure, Tame Impala and Animal Collective. Phoenix released their fifth studio album, 'Bankrupt!', in April 2013, supporting it with a world tour and appearances at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Primavera Sound and Glastonbury Festival.
