A full performance of the classic ‘Dark Side Of the Moon’ is to feature on a Pink Floyd DVD to be released later this year.
'Pulse', out on December 5, captures the 'Division Bell' tour in 1994, and was filmed at London's Earl's Court during the band’s record-breaking 14-night residency. The two-disc release contains the full concert performance with rare backstage footage and previously unseen extras.
A live filmed performance of Pink Floyd's huge-selling 1973 album ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ appears on Disc 2. Other tracks such as ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ and the chart-topping ‘Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)’ feature on Disc 1. The package also features never before seen rarities such as ‘Bootlegging the Bootleggers’ and behind-the-scenes footage showing a snapshot of life on the road with one of the world's biggest rock bands.
The graphics are designed by long-time Pink Floyd collaborator, Storm Thorgersen. The DVD includes some of the ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ original screen films used in the seventies concerts which were never filmed, as well others remade for the 1994 tour.
