Homeless charity to get benefit from sale of six foot tall prop
Pink Floyd are set to auction the giant eyeball featured on the cover of their DVD ’Pulse’.
All profits from the sale of the signed, six foot tall eyeball will go towards homeless charity Crisis. The auction will take place on eBay between December 14 – 20.
In a statement, guitarist Dave Gilmour said: “The eBay auction will not only raise much needed funds for the charity, but will also raise awareness of the plight of the homeless at a time of year when they are most vulnerable.”
The band’s concert film ’A Performance of The Dark Side Of The Moon’ which was filmed at Earls Court in 1994, will be broadcast on December 15 on BBC 1.
