FATMAN WON'T BUDGE

While REM top the album chart...

FATMAN WON'T BUDGE

FATMAN SCOOP has held on to the number one spot in the official UK singles chart for the second week.

‘Be Faithful’, featuring the Crooklyn Clan, fought off competition from Atomic Kitten, Pink and Holly Valance. The Kittens did manage to scoop highest new entry, at three with ‘If You Come To Me’. Pink’s comeback single ‘Trouble’ debuts at seven, with Holly Valance straight in at eight with ‘State Of Mind’.

Other notable new entries on the chart see boyband Phixx in at ten with their debut single ‘Hold On Me’, Mark Owen at 26 with ‘Alone Without You’ and Underworld at 27 with the 2003 remix of ‘Born Slippy Nuxx’.

On the album chart, REM have knocked Dido’s ‘Life For Rent’ from the top spot with their Best Of compilation, ‘In Time’. Fittingly, Sugababes are straight in at three with their third album, ‘Three’.
