Dinosaur Pile-Up 'over the moon' as Pixies offer them support slots
Band tell NME they're 'honoured' to be warming up for Frank Black and co
Dinosaur Pile-up have told NME.COM they are "honoured" after being selected by Pixies to support them on the band's European tour.
The group has been asked to play at Frank Black and co's London O2 Academy Brixton show, and dates in Europe.
"We're about 1,000 per cent over the moon about being able to support such an important band to us," said singer/guitarist Matt Bigland. "They're legends to a lot of our generation. It'll be an honour, and we will be very shy. It'll be awesome."
They play the following Pixies shows:
London O2 Academy Brixton (October 9)
Frankfurt Jahrhunderthalle (11)
Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall (13)
Brussels Forest National (14)
Paris Zenith (15, 16)
The band then headline Club NME at London KOKO on October 30. Head to NME.COM/clubnme for details.
