Pixies have announced the support acts for their upcoming London shows.
Playing a sold-out, four-night residency at Brixton Academy, the Boston natives have named
The Big Pink, Art Brut, Bombay Bicycle Club and Dinosaur Pile-up as the bands that will support them.
The residency is part of a tour of Europe that kicks off in Ireland at Olympia on September 30. The jaunt is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Pixies' seminal 'Doolittle' album.
As previously reported, Dinosaur Pile-up are "over the moon" about supporting the band.
"They're legends to a lot of our generation. It'll be an honour, and we will be very shy. It'll be awesome," said singer and guitarist Matt Bigland.
Pixies' London support is as follows:
The Big Pink (October 6)
Bombay Bicycle Club (7)
Art Brut (8)
Dinosaur Pile-Up (9)
