Japanese popsters PIZZICATO FIVE are reported to be splitting after almost two decades together.
According to www.rolliingstone.com, the band, formed in the early '80s by students Keitaro Takanami, Ryo Kamamiya and Konishi Yasuharu, plan to perform a farewell concert in their native Tokyo on March 31.
It is anticipated that the band's last release will be a greatest hits compilation entitled 'Pizzicato Five R.I.P. Big Hits & Jet Lags', later in the year.
