PJ Harvey to showcase new songs at only UK gig
Singer gears up for rare solo show in Manchester
PJ Harvey is set to showcase new material at an intimate gig in July.
The singer will play a rare solo show on July 7 at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, and is promising some new songs on the night.
According to a statement, Harvey's sold-out gig – part of the inaugural Manchester International Festival – will feature a “career-spanning set” and will see her “treat fans to a couple of new songs along the way”.
The show is currently Harvey’s only confirmed UK date of the year, with her only other appearances confirmed for the Summercase Festival in Madrid and Barcelona, also in July.
The star's last album was 'Uh Huh Her' in 2004.
