They'll enter the studio later this month

PJ Harvey has announced that she will enter the studio later this month to record a full-length album with regular collaborator John Parish.

In a posting today (January 9) on the singer's MySpace page, an announcement read that the duo are about to "commence work on a collaborative album, a follow-up to their 1996 collaboration on 'Dance Hall At Louse Point'".

The as-yet-untitled project is due out later this year, and will feature guest artists including long-time cohort Eric Drew Feldman, Carla Azar from Autolux and Giovanni Ferrario.

The studio session will precede Harvey's upcoming tour of New Zealand and Australia in support of her acclaimed 2007 album 'White Chalk'.
