Tickets for Placebo's gigs in Edinburgh and Liverpool this April go onsale today (February 10) at 9am (GMT).

The trio, who have recently said that they will be recording the follow-up to their sixth album 'Battle For The Sun' during the coming months, had already announced a date at London's IndigO2 on April 28, and will now also play two shows in the preceding days.

The band will play Edinburgh's HMV Picture House on April 25 and Liverpool's Olympia venue on April 26 before they play the London show on April 28.

Placebo released a live DVD, which was titled 'We Come In Pieces', late last year. The DVD was shot at O2 Academy Brixton in September 2010. You can watch a clip from the DVD by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Placebo will play:

Edinburgh HMV Picture House (April 25)
