Placebo have announced details of their comeback UK tour.

The band will kick off the dates at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on April 5.

The tour will then hit Glasgow, Newcastle and Birmingham before culminating in a gig at London’s Alexandra Palace on April 11.

Placebo release their new album ‘Meds’ on March 13 which will be preceded by the single ‘Because I Want You’ on March 6.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (February 3).
