Newly issued ‘Meds’ has three new tracks

Placebo’s fifth studio album ‘Meds’ is set for a re-release in the US, and it features three extra tracks not present on last year’s original release.

‘Lazarus', 'UNEEDMEMORETHANINEEDU' and a cover of the Kate Bush classic 'Running Up That Hill' have all been added to the album, which also features a duet with Michael Stipe and an appearance by Alison Mosshart of The Kills.

Currently in tour in Europe, the trio have recently enjoyed a spate of success, being referenced as a key influence on the current influx of emo bands, from Panic At The Disco to My Chemical Romance.

Following last year’s co-headlining tour with , during which Placebo headlined all but three shows due to public demand, the band are set to return to the US this spring for their own tour.

'Meds' is re-released in the US on January 23.
