Placebo recruit fans to star in video
They're invited to sing 'Running Up That Hill'
Placebo are recruiting fans to star in the forthcoming video for their new single 'Running Up That Hill'.
The band announced today (March 30) that they are inviting their fans to submit single-camera video clips of themselves singing the Kate Bush cover.
"This is a great opportunity to get the fans involved in one of our videos," said Placebo in a statement.
"Knowing our fans, as visually diverse as they are, we expect some very creative feedback!! Could make very interesting viewing! We look forward to it!" they said.
Fans can download an instrumental version of the song and lyrics and upload their videos to Motionbox.com/placebo, using the personal video sharing service Motionbox.
Entries are limited to the first 1,000 people who upload their clips. The video will be a montage of fans singing the song.
The deadline for submissions is April 6.
