They’ll join My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday on tour

Placebo have been added to the Projekt Revolution tour line-up, kicking off in July.

The trio will join My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday and H.I.M on the tour, which will run through September 3.

The tour was created by Linkin Park as part of their ‘Music For Relief’ programme which helps aid victims of world catastrophes and combat global warming.

Personally selected by Linkin Park, the bands follow previous Projekt Revolution acts including Korn, Snoop Dogg and Cypress Hill.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park are gearing up for the release of their third album ‘Minutes to Midnight’ which will be released tomorrow (May 15)
