'BO PEEP!

The group will preview their third album 'Black Market Music' at the Brixton Academy gig...

PLACEBO have announced details of a one-off live show in LONDON in OCTOBER.

The band are confirmed to play a show at the London Brixton Academy on October 31, the next scheduled UK gig for the band after their highest-profile gigs of the year at the Carling Weekend Festivals in Leeds (26) and Reading (27).

Placebo are expected to premiere material from their forthcoming third studio album, 'Black Market Music'. Speaking previously about the record, vocalist Brian Molko described it as combining the "punky youthful energy" of the band's self-titled debut with the "slow melancholy" of the follow-up, 'Without You I'm Nothing'.

The band are spending the rest of August playing at various festivals across Europe.
