New names for iTunes festival announced

Placebo, Calvin Harris, Bloc Party, Mika for free London shows
Placebo, Calvin Harris, Bloc Party and Mika have been announced as set to play free London shows as part of the for the 2009 iTunes Live festival next month.

The festival spans July, with a gig taking place every night of the month in London's Roundhouse. Tickets are free, but only available to competition winners. Go to Ituneslive.co.uk to enter.

Placebo will play on July 14, Calvin Harris will play on July 18, Bloc Party will play on July 20 and Mika will play on July 31.

Oasis, Kasabian and Friendly Fires are among the other acts confirmed to play.

A recording of every gig will be available to buy on iTunes download service after the event.
