ROCK'S OFF

Weather damage to the Rock City venue forces the glam-punk trio to reschedule ...

PLACEBO have been forced to cancel this evening's show at NOTTINGHAM ROCK CITY (October 30) after stormy weather damaged the venue.

The band were due to play the show in Nottingham as part of their ongoing UK tour to promote their new album 'Black Market Music'.

A spokesperson for Rock City told NME.COM: "We should have a rescheduled date by November 6. The weather has just taken some materials off the roof, but they are going to fix it as soon as possible. We have Embrace playing on Wednesday night (November 1) and, at the minute, that will take place according to plan."

Placebo will play their final two UK shows before heading off to mainland Europe at London Brixton Academy tomorrow and Wednesday (October 31-November 1).
