Plan B has pulled out of this year's Jersey Live festival due to a clash in the production schedule of his movie directorial debut.

The singer, real name Ben Drew, was due to play the festival on September 5. A statement on the festival's official website, Jerseylive.org.uk from his agent confirmed that he will now not play the bash because he will be working on Ill Manors.

"Due to an unforeseen change to the filming schedule of Plan B's directorial debut Ill Manors, we are all very sorry to announce that Plan B will have to cancel his appearance at Jersey Live festival," the statement read. "We are very sorry that we have had to cancel and apologise to those fans who were looking forward to seeing him perform."

Drew has previously acted in films including 4.3.2.1 and Harry Brown.

Other acts still confirmed to play Jersey Live, which takes place on September 4 and 5, include Paul Weller, Kate Nash and Biffy Clyro.
