Metal frontman to star in reality TV show

Poison's Bret Michaels is looking for love

Poison frontman Bret Michaels is set to star in his own reality television show on VH1.

Michaels, whose band scored megahits in the 80s with ’Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ and ’Unskinny Bop’, will be looking for love in the show which is called ’Rock of Love With Bret Michaels’.

According to a statement: "the hard-rockin' Poison front man is looking for a woman who can truly keep up with his Rock ‘N’ Roll lifestyle and not become jealous of his one true passion – performing, which has been the reason for and destruction of most of his relationships.”

The programme will be similar to the hugely successful ’Flavor of Love’, in which Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav starred.

Michaels will live with “a bevy of beauties” in his Los Angeles mansion, who will perform various tasks and challenges in an effort to see who will best fit in with his lifestyle.

’Rock of Love With Bret Michaels’ will air in July on VH1.
