The Polyphonic Spree have covered Nirvana’s ‘Lithium’ on their new EP.
The collective will release their version of Nirvana’s 1991 track on the five-track ‘Wait’.
The EP also features two new original songs, ‘Mental Cabaret’ and ‘I’m Calling’, as well as covers of Psychedelic Furs’ ‘Love My Way’ and ‘Sonic Boom’ by Tripping Daisy - frontman Tim Delaughter's old band.
‘Wait’ is released in the US on September 5, while the band’s third album, ’The Fragile Army’, is expected to be released early next year.
