Portishead announce new single
Portishead have revealed more about 'Third', their long-awaited new album, describing it as the "older brother" of its predecessors. Guitarist Adrian Utley has also described the album's sound as a departure in some areas. He told Billboard: “It sounds nothing like 'Dummy' or 'Portishead', but it’s definitely its older brother or sister. It’s the same mindset we’ve always had, only further down the road.”
Album also set to feature a host of extras
The 12-inch vinyl is out on April 14, while a digital version is available from Portishead.co.uk from 8pm on April 10.
The release does not feature any B-sides.

Ade's House - 'Machine Gun'

The band have also announced that they will issue a limited edition box set of 'Third', with details to be announced.
The album's tracklisting will be:
'Silence'
'Hunter'
'Nylon Smile'
'The Rip'
'Plastic'
'We Carry On'
'Deep Water'
