Primal Scream have moved to the home of Kaiser Chiefs and The Automatic.

This band, who were proclaimed Godlike Geniuses at this year’s Shockwaves NME Awards, have signed with the label B-Unique-.

This means Bobby Gillespie and co are now labelmates with the likes of The Twang, The Ordinary Boys and Pull Tiger Tail – imagine what the label’s Christmas party is going to be like.

“Signing a band as legendary as Primal Scream is a massive honour, they are one of the best British bands of all time,” declared B-Unique co-director Martin Toher.

The band, whose last LP was 2006's 'Riot City Blues', are currently writing new songs and are expected to start work on a new album later this year.
