Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Basement Jaxx to headline Kendal Calling

Mystery Jets, British Sea Power, Dutch Uncles and Drenge also confirmed for the Lake District weekender in July

Primal Scream, The Charlatans and Basement Jaxx have been announced as the headliners for this summer's Kendal Calling.

The festival takes place between Friday, July 26 and Sunday, July 28 at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in the Lake District. Other artists confirmed for the weekend include I Am Kloot, Mystery Jets, Lightning Seeds, Ash, British Sea Power, Dub Pistols and Fake Blood.

Meanwhile, new music comes in the form of Radar favourites Drenge, Kodaline, The 1975, Dutch Uncles, Theme Park, Sons & Lovers, Wind-Up Birds, Calling All Astronauts, Public Service Broadcasting, The Mispers, Genre-Sluts and Flight Of Arrows.

Tickets are available now, priced at £115 for adults, £60 for 11 to 15-year-olds. Under 11s go free. Emperors Field camping is charged at £25 surplus. A deposit scheme is also available. For more information, go to www.kendalcalling.co.uk.
