Prince has reportedly snubbed Michael Jackson's offer to join him on tour.
The gloved one is said to have asked the purple one to open for him at a series of concerts designed to help revitalise his career.
Prince declined the offer, saying that he already had plans for a tour of his own later in the year.
The Sun reported that Jackson was recently overheard complaining about the snub at a birthday party for the Sultan of Brunei, where a partygoer remarked, "Michael seemed pretty upset about it. He said he'd approached Prince to see if he would like to work together, but Prince wasn't interested."
This rejection comes on the heels of a snub from veteran producer Quincy Jones, who recently turned down the chance to work with Jackson on his forthcoming album, as previously reported.
