Prince to play legendary hometown venue
It's his first gig at First Avenue in 20 years
Prince has announced that he will perform at Minneapolis' First Avenue for the first time in 20 years this Saturday (July 7).
The Purple One helped make the venue in his hometown famous two decades ago by shooting the live scenes from his film, 'Purple Rain', at the club.
Tickets for the show are set to go on sale Saturday (July 6) for $31.21.
The First Avenue gig will follow a performance he has scheduled earlier in the day at the Minneapolis Macy's store to launch his new fragrance, 3121, as previously announced.
