Prince has announced last-minute plans to curate a music festival.

The NPG Music & Art Festival will take place on August 6-7 in Copenhagen and will feature performances from the singer along with sets from Janelle Monae and Chaka Khan.

However, the singer is cutting it a bit fine, as The Guardian reports that the website for the festival was unveiled less than a month ago, and the singer only decided to extend the event from one day to two just 11 days ago.

The line-up for the festival is:

August 6:
Prince
Chaka Khan
Larry Graham & Graham Central Station
Raphael Saadiq
Nikka Costa

August 7:
Prince
Chaka Khan
Janelle Monae
Nikka Costa

Tickets start at 550kr (£65) per day, rising to 1,275kr (£150) per day for the Purple Lounge VIP Experience. This includes access to the VIP tent, VIP buffet, VIP toilets, one T-shirt, one cocktail and five beers.

Last month Prince played his first UK show for two years, when he closed the Hop Farm Festival in Paddock Wood, Kent.

The pop icon, clad all in white, played a set featuring covers of Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough', The Beatles' 'Come Together' and Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love'.
