Prince will return to the UK for four shows in May.

Prince will appear in Birmingham on May 15, Manchester on May 16 and Glasgow on the 22nd before rounding off the tour with his first ever show in Leeds on May 23. Scroll down for full venue details.

Prince will be joined by on the tour, which marks his headline his first regional UK arena dates since 1995 and his first arena dates in the country since his sold out residency at The O2 London in 2007, by 3RDEYEGIRL.

The singer and guitarist staged a number of impromptu live appearances in the UK throughout February 2014, appearing at venues across London and performing two dates in Manchester.

It was announced earlier this month that Prince had re-signed to Warner Bros after 17 years and no small amount of acrimony between artist and label. The Minneapolis singer has signed a deal which will see him regain ownership of his back catalogue. The deal also means 'Purple Rain' will be re-released as a deluxe, remastered edition to coincide with the 30th anniversary in June. Warner Bros have also stated they will release a new album from Prince, with "other projects set to follow".

Prince will play:

Birmingham, LG Arena (May 15)
Manchester, Phones 4 U Arena (16)
Glasgow, SSE Hydro (22)
Leeds, First Direct Arena (23)

Tickets are available from May 2. To check the availability of Prince tickets and get all the latest listings, head to NME.COM/tickets.
