Prince & 3rdEyeGirl have announced plans to play two shows in one night at the London Roundhouse on June 4.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at midday on June 3. The stage times of the two shows will be 5.30pm and 9.45pm. The last minute shows have been sandwiched between Prince's current European tour dates, with a Berlin show at the Temperdrom on June 3 and a gig at Stadthalle in Vienna on June 7. Tickets will be available exclusively from Ticketmaster.

Last month Prince brought his Hit and Run tour to the UK for a series of arena shows in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds. The Birmingham date saw the band play a 34-song set including classics from Prince's back catalogue plus material that will feature on a forthcoming album with 3rdEyeGirl.

The singer and guitarist staged a number of impromptu live appearances in the UK throughout February 2014, appearing at venues across London and performing two dates in Manchester.
