Professor Green has appeared in court at the trial of a man who allegedly thrust a broken bottle into his neck.

London Snaresbrook Crown Court heard how Anthony Jones, 25, launched a "cowardly and vicious" attack on the rapper - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - when he accidentally bumped into one of his friends at London's Cargo venue.

The prosecution alleges that the rapper then ran out the club bleeding heavily with a six-inch gash while Jones shouted, "You're fucking dead" to him, reports The Sun.

Jones denies wounding with intent following the incident, which took place last year. The trial continues.
