Professor Green is currently in hospital with a possible broken leg after being crushed between two cars on Friday night (May 24).

The 'Read All About It' rapper was picking up a hire car to travel to play at a student ball when he was accidentally sandwiched between a ML63 and an SLS AMG. He was rushed to hospital where he described the incident in a series of tweets.

He wrote: "Won't know until tomorrow if it's surgery or not, so fucking depressed. No jokes left in me this could hinder and ruin so so much. If I'd have fallen when the car hit me I'd be dead...would have been my head in between the cars." He also posted a picture on Instagram of his swollen left leg, adding that the accident was nearly four years to the day since he was stabbed in the neck.

"Nearly 4 yrs to the day I got stabbed and again a full moon, something about this time of year that brings me badness," he wrote. "My star sign, and it was a supermoon. I'm telling you it's not a great time for me - next time I'm wrapping myself in cotton wool and staying at home."

Professor Green cancelled his gig at Hartbury College in Gloucestershire on Friday night and the University of Roehampton on Saturday. He is due to play at Mallorca Rocks on July 2, however, it is currently unclear if he will recover in time to play the festival gig.
