ROCK AND PAROLE!

The star is due in court later today...

PUBLIC ENEMY have started an American tour without FLAVOR FLAV - who is currently in jail.

The rap legends have now started their tour with Dilated Peoples and Blackalicious.

However, according to www.billboard.com, Flav is not on the opening dates following his arrest in New York for a parole violation stemming from an earlier vehicular infraction.

He is currently in George Motchan Detention Center on Riker's Island and due in court later today (September 20), according to the report.

It is currently unclear if the situation will be resolved for when Public Enemy play a rare UK show at the London Astoria on November 20, in support of their album 'Revolvelution'.

Tickets are on sale now by clicking here or via the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
