Pulled Apart By Horses reveal Italian arthouse-inspired 'Lizard Baby' video – watch

The band's new single is taken from forthcoming album 'Blood'

Pulled Apart By Horses have revealed the video for their new single 'Lizard Baby'. Click above to watch now.

'Lizard Baby' is the second track to be taken from the band's forthcoming third album 'Blood' and follows on from 'Hot Squash', which was revealed earlier this year. The video sees the band perform the song in front of a multicoloured backdrop intercut with a series of seemingly random images, including a lizard and a pile of noodles.

Explaining the video, guitarist James Brown said: "The glaringly colourful video for ‘Lizard Baby’ is a visual juxtaposition of us playing, as we love to do, with some weird and wonderful ideas we came up with when collaborating with director Stephen Agnew."

Vocalist Tom Hudson added: "The meandering bass line and mysterious air to 'Lizard Baby' goes hand in hand with the surreal, Italian arthouse-inspired music video. Blending the iconic Dario Argento red, blue and green hued lighting alongside gonzo imagery to take us into the twisted world in which our 'Lizard Baby' inhabits."

Pulled Apart By Horses recently finished a short UK tour and are also confirmed to play the main stage at Reading And Leeds Festivals later this summer. They will play three dates prior to their appearance at the festival.

Pulled Apart By Horses will play:

Coventry Kasbah (August 18)
Nottingham Bodega (19)
Liverpool East Village Arts Club (20)
Reading Festival (23)
Leeds Festival (24)

The 'Blood' tracklisting is:

'Hot Squash'
'ADHD In HD'
'Lizard Baby'
'You Want It'
'Hello Men'
'Skull Noir'
'Grim Deal'
'Bag Of Snakes'
'Outahead'
'Medium Rare'
'Weird Weather'
'Golden Monument'
