Pulled Apart By Horses have brewed their own pale ale, made with blood oranges and Yorkshire Tea.

The beer has been made in partnership with West Yorkshire's Revolutions Brewery Company and will be available in select pubs across the UK. Speaking about the ale, guitarist James Brown has said: "The idea of people drinking our 'Blood' (not literally) is so exciting for us! It's the kind of thing you talk about a lot but never usually happens, so because this has become a reality we really want to celebrate it!"

The band will launch the ale on August 29 at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, where they will also play their very first public acoustic live set. Tickets for the show will be available to competition winners who post photos on Twitter and Instagram of themselves drinking their favourite beverage alongside the hashtag #PABHsBlood.

Scroll down to watch the band playing an acoustic session. They will release their third album, 'Blood', on September 1.

Pulled Apart By Horses will play a run of dates this month, ahead of the release of the LP, including Reading and Leeds Festivals. They will appear at:

Coventry Kasbah (August 18)
Nottingham Bodega (19)
Liverpool East Village Arts Club (20)
Reading Festival (23)
Leeds Festival (24)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (29)
