Supermodel Kate Moss was among thousands of people who were turned away from Pulp's secret show at Glastonbury on Saturday (June 25).

Moss, who was on site with fiancé Jamie Hince, tried to secure entry to The Park stage to watch Jarvis Cocker and co's unannounced show, but was told there was just no room by security guards.

According to the Daily Star, an onlooker said: "It was quite funny to watch one of the most recognisable faces in the world trying to persuade a bouncer to let her in. She told the man she is friends with Jarvis and kept flashing her VIP Access All Areas pass, but he wasn't having any of it."

The onlooker added that the model stayed calm and didn't throw a hissy fit when she found out she wouldn't get to see the Sheffield band, saying: "Fair play to her, she was very polite, didn't lose her temper or even try the line: 'Don't you know who I am?' But he didn't seem like he was going to change his mind."

Moss wasn't the only one to miss out on seeing Pulp. The band drew the biggest ever crowd at The Park stage, and caused the entrance to the area to be shut well before they came onstage.
