Queen Latifah gets Hollywood Star
The star is the first hip-hop artist to get honour
Queen Latifah has got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, and is the first rapper to do so.
The star follows the Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination the star received for 2003’s ‘Chicago’.
On receiving the award, she said: “One of the reasons for me to be here is to inspire other young women, other African American women, young wannabe rappers or wannabe actors.”
She also said she wanted to inspire “wannabe entrepreneurs, of full figured sexy women”.
