European arena tour also confirmed

Queen have announced they will release their first new studio album in 13 years on September 1.

Although a title has yet to be confirmed it will be the first LP to bear the band's name since the death of singer Freddie Mercury, and their first with ex-Free frontman Paul Rodgers.

Brian May and co. have also confirmed an extensive European tour beginning on in Moscow on September 16.

Tickets for The Cosmos Rocks Tour go on sale on April 5.
