Woman jailed for stalking Freddie Mercury lookalike
An Ebbw Vale woman has been jailed for eight months for stalking a Freddie Mercury lookalike who fronts a Queen tribute act.

Marie Lewis, 27, was handed the jail sentence for three charges of harassment at Cardiff Crown Court yesterday (April 15) after stalking singer William Westmoreland from Fife, who performs under the name Billy West in the band Under Pressure, reports the Metro.

The court heard how Lewis tracked Westmoreland down to Fife, phoning his wife and accusing her husband of being unfaithful. She sent abusive letters, with one packaged with a tarantula skin and the message, "I hope this scares you".

She once attempted to assault the singer during a show and was restrained by bouncers.

Her lawyer said Lewis "acknowledges her behaviour was cruel, relentless and vile".
