Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme's new band 5.15ers will make their live debut in the US later this month.

The band will consist of Homme and Chris Goss, who has previously participated in Homme’s Desert Sessions projects as well as producing several Kyuss albums - the band Homme was in before QOTSA.

The band are not planning to record as of yet, but are focusing on playing live.

Goss told Billboard he is unsure how the band will sound as the band have no songs written at the moment.

He added: “We’ve never done it(played live) before. I think there will be some improve involved. Perhaps some covers, we’re thinking.”

He described their music as “art fag”.
