Queens Of The Stone Age have been confirmed as headliners for next years' Open'er festival in Poland.

The festival, which takes place at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airfield in Gdynia between July 4-7, is already confirmed to feature Blur. Queens Of The Stone Age will play the main stage on July 5.

Queens Of The Stone Age are currently working on their sixth LP, the follow-up to 2007's Era Vulgaris. Earlier this month, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor revealed that he is working on a song for the album, saying that one of his current projects was: "helping Josh out on a new QOTSA track" and also hinted that he would be touring with the group in 2013.

Dave Grohl will also be lending a hand on the LP. After recently announcing that the Foo Fighters will be on a temporary hiatus, the frontman is filling in for drummer Joey Castillo, who has left the band according to Homme,

Queens Of The Stone Age will be playing Download Festival for the first ever time next summer. Download Festival will take place from June 14-16 2013 at Donington Park.
