Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie and Arcade Fire all appear on a list of Queens Of The Stone Age's favourite albums of 2013.

The list was first published by Brooklyn Vegan and also includes entries for new albums by Paul McCartney, Phoenix and Kurt Vile. Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme appears on Arctic Monkeys 'AM', which is ranked at Number Two on the list behind 'Reflektor' by Arcade Fire. Scroll down to see the full list.

Queens of the Stone Age’s '…Like Clockwork', meanwhile, was recently placed at number three on NME’s albums of 2013 list behind Arctic Monkeys’ 'AM' and Kanye West's 'Yeezus' and was also voted in at number three on the reader's poll behind 'AM' and Foals' 'Holy Fire'. Alex Turner appears on the album, providing backing vocals on the song 'If I Had A Tail'.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Josh Homme is set to make a guest appearance on American sketch comedy Portlandia when it returns for a fourth season in 2014.

The show, which is written and performed by Sleater-Kinney and Wild Flag singer Carrie Browstein and ex-Saturday Night Live regular Fred Armisen, takes a satirical look at the hipster hotbed of Portland and the various characters that inhabit the city.
